Sandra is devoted to helping enterprises, teams and individuals secure optimal and sustainable growth through proprietary business development programs, strategic advisory and tactical initiatives.  She works diligently with organizations to understand their goals and desired outcomes, and she works tirelessly to ensure objectives are met.  She leads a curated network of world class educators and consultants who have developed branded curricula that positively transform businesses and social enterprises.

Sandra has deep expertise in Business Development practices.  Prior to joining Institute for Social Design®, Sandra held leadership positions at leading consultancies whose competencies ranged from insights, innovation and strategy to branding, design and product development.  From 2003 until 2008, she was Senior Consultant, Business Development at The Brand Collaborative®, an integrated innovation and branding consultancy based in New York City.  Her twenty years of consulting experience has helped organizations such as AT&T, Unilever, DuPont and Coca-Cola secure game-changing innovation and growth. Her strategic advisory helps leaders and executives at international corporations secure game changing outcomes.  Sandra’s current research is focused on Empathic Thinking® – proprietary principles and practices related to successful collaboration and high value decision making.

Sandra has a strong interest in positive social change.  She is an award winning leader, recognized by John Kerry and recipient of Governor’s citation for Philanthropic Infinitives. Her transformational social innovation initiatives have transformed issues such as homelessness, where her in-depth fundraising and awareness campaigns were effective in transforming the temporary shelter system into a reintegration programs and building new transitional housing.  She has served on the U.S. Olympic Committee, AWNY and Women Unlimited.
